Costumed Viking storytellers tell the tale of the Vikings in the West of Scotland and the visitor center provides a multimedia presentation of this fascinating time of Scottish History. The visitor centre also houses a swimming pool restaurant, theatre and children’s soft play area.

The Burrel Collection
World famous collection of decorative and fine arts gifted to Glasgow by Sir William Burrell. Displayed in a specially designed building in Pollok County Park the collection was amassed over 80 years of his life and is outstanding in its wealth and diversity.

Gallery of Modern Art
Opened in 1996, the Gallery of Modern Art is housed in an elegant, neo-classical building in the heart of Glasgow city centre. Refurbished to house the city’s contemporary art collection, the building is an appealing combination of old and new architecture, incorporating a number of artists’ commissions.
