Location

There are few country house hotels in Scotland which can say that they sit equidistantly between, yet only 25 minutes either side of, two of Scotland’s major airports, Prestwick Airport to the south of the hotel, and Glasgow Airport to the north.

Burnhouse Manor Hotel is located to the north of the B706 Beith-Dunlop road on the western edge of the little North Ayrshire hamlet of Burnhouse, north of Irvine and Kilwinning. The hotel is bordered to the north by Burnhouse Manor Farm and by the farmer's house (a relatively modern house) to the north east. Pastoral agricultural land borders the hotel to both east and west. The driveway leading to the hotel is some 60 metres in length before reaching the hotel parking area and takes access from the B706.

The B706 joins the A736 Irvine and Kilwinning to Glasgow road just 500 metres from the hotel. Either way on this road you can be in one of the two airports within the half hour. The major M77 trunk route is only 10 minutes away form the hotel.
