Civil Ceremonies

Until very recently a choice of marriage venue was open to couples choosing religious marriages for a number of years, but never to brides and grooms-to-be who want a civil ceremony.

Taking advantage of the recent change in the law allowing civil ceremonies to take place in hotels we are now a Registered Place for civil marriages. You can now hold your marriage service with us if you choose a civil service. For details of the legal requirements go to www.edinburgh.gov.uk

And of course you can, as has always been the case, arrange your priest or minister to conduct a religious marriage service in the hotel. Please contact our Banqueting team for full details of how to conduct your service with us.
